CLASSIC SUCCESS STORIES

I have always been a fan of success stories.
I am fascinated how brilliant, disciplined & “lucky” they are or have been.

Due to some eye & time constraints, I have learned to like, then loved audio materials, audio books that is.
A friend gave me a copy of success excerpt or summaries of success stories.

Just by the introduction of the audio book, I knew I’m gonna be hooked.

It opens with this very powerful statement:

“ We desire success almost as we desire to breath”

Really?
I thought some would just simply settle for less or for what is average, just the “so-so”.
To get by the day would be fine ideology…

“If you have rekindled your desire to succeed then this book is for you.”

“I just knew it,” I beamed.

Who doesn’t want to succeed in their chosen field or even just on their daily task, a homework, a game or whatever it is.

Then this stuck into my brains:

“Success is not an event or result in isolation but an expression of what’s best in you.”

Then what it is?

“Winning is overcoming obstacles to reach a goal. But the value in winning is only as great as the value of the goal reached.”

With that I paused & remember the preachers, yes, there was many of them who have emphasized that we are created in the image & likeness of God. Now, this has given me a new meaning, a new definition o f what it is like to created in His likeness.

“Shouldn’t we be the best version of ourselves then?” I asked.

On this note, I want to leave you of the very same question I asked myself.

This is just the introduction…. Will share with you more…
