Hello February, Thank you January!

Last two days of January.
Maybe a day left & that would be tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to spend the day in thanksgiving.
There are tough days but to sum it all up, it was a good start.

Well let me officialy welcome, Lovely February.

February is of course the love month.
The time when people express their feeling through flowers, chocolates, gifts, cards, poems, dates, etc.

But more than that I'm so excited for my February.
I'm looking forward to some changes, positive but hard changes.
I hope to have a better coping mechanism & by God's grace all will go well.

Come February, I hope to be more patient, even tempered, silent & calm.
It might be the not so me but I just want to tame myself.

Other than that I hope to have a lovely February as well.

Hello February thank you January!

VALENTINES IS UP NEXT

The month of February is associated with love.
Valentines day is hype up with flowers, chocolates, candle light dinners, lovers, gifts, perfumes, surprises and the like.

But love is not just celebrated for a month in a year or just a day in a year!
Love is to be celebrated similarly with the air we breath... cheezy :)

Unseen like the air we also want to see, smell, touch & feel it.

Thus the flowers for the eyes to appreciate, his or her scent to smell, the hands of a lover to touch and the warmth and comfort it feels as we celebrate love, as Valentines day is celebrated.

Isn't it a wonderful experience to see a beautiful smile as you hand those flowers to her?
Isn't it a heavenly experience to smell her scent as she wore the perfume you gave her on your date?

And to hear those words of love she giggly whisper into your ears are just PRICELESS!

Looking forward to a lovely February...

START IS ABOUT TO END

January is about to end.
January has been a starter for me but not lately. It seem to be just another day.
A continuation of yesterday. Thus my expression, "I haven't moved on, still in 2009."

A week is left to end the starter. Or is it really so?

Well, for those who have listed there's new year's resolution, let me ask.
Are they still good? or it hasn't been started or already broken?
Doesn't mean to be negative but it just dawn upon me lately that these resolutions are like plans.

Plans are to be worked out. Let the so called failure be an indicator that maybe such plan of achieving a specific resolution is meant to be modified. Take heart you can achieve it!

And so with me, "January's" are not yet over. I have to take heart. Yes, it might just be another day but thank God it is another day!

Whatever you have planned, work it out!

"Plan your work, work your plan!"

Cheers to another start on love, valentines is up next! :)

TALENT VS PERSISTENCE

This must be an exciting career lesson. It took me so long to write about it huh!

Anyway let's continue the unconventional career lesson #4.

PERSISTENCE EXCEEDS TALENT

Of course talent is important. It's the foundation of one's greatness. But its not THE only thing that will get you through. Talent won't get things done alone.

As harsh as it may sound, most of the times, being steadfast beats a mere talent.

Remember we talked about strengths? Identifying and focusing on one's strength is like finding our so called 'craziness'. Our weakness keeps us humble while our strengths leads us to greatness!

I don't want to be religious but we were created as talented people, in the image and likeness of our Creator.

Maybe we just didn't find time to notice that we got it. Let's say other's noticed it for us but we didn't nurture it. Thing doesn't always go the way we want them to, it may not be appealing at all times but be persistent.
Take heart! Be persistent and don't give up.
It's just too wasteful! Talent is a gift, a BLESSING!

Well if you don't persist, yes you, full of talent, blessed with it,
you will be passed by with the less talented one.
But with more grit and  persistence you will be on top of your game.

To remain on top of your game, think continuous improvement!
It doesn't have to be a one time big blast of changes.
Even small improvements matter.
These small steps will keep you and me moving.

THE MORE YOU PERSIST THE MORE YOU SUCCEED!

THE MORE YOU CONTINUE TO IMPROVE, THE MORE YOU MATTER!
